MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER: We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing multi-discipline design team to assist in project design and delivery. Candidate should demonstrate a proven track record with effective project delivery for complete systems including HVAC, Energy Recovery, Energy Modeling, Geothermal, and Plumbing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5-10 years’ experience in the consulting industry
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia (or available through comity)
  • Knowledge of Sustainable & Energy-Friendly Design Solutions
  • AutoCAD experience a must (Revit experience desired)
  • Proficient in Load analysis and energy modeling – Trace Trane or similar
  • Commissioning and Controls experience preferred
  • Federal Specification writing experience preferred (SpecsIntact)
  • Fire Protection training and experience considered

MECHANICAL STAFF ENGINEER: We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing multi-discipline design team. You should be self-driven and dedicated to in pursuing a Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure. DJG has designed complete systems including HVAC, Energy Recovery, Energy Modeling, Geothermal, and Plumbing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering /li>
  • PE desired, EIT required
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Sustainable & Energy-Friendly Design Solutions
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
  • Strong background in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer
  • Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Refrigeration, and Alternative/Renewable energy system design experience desired
  • Goal-oriented team worker
  • Excellent communication skills

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ASSOCIATE: We are currently looking for an Electrical Associate to join our growing multi-discipline design team to assist in project design and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering-in-Training (EIT) required
  • AutoCAD or Revit experience preferred
  • Strong education background of electrical power, control and automation; medium and low voltage power distribution; auxiliary systems; lighting; UPS, fire alarm, data and telephone

CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER: We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to work within our Land Development Group. As a teammate, you can expect to provide your expertise for the gamut of clients, including military, local and state government, higher education and private developers.

Recent projects have ranged from an access control point, fire station, and apartment buildings requiring multi-year involvement, to drainage studies and small scale site designs completed in a few days.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering program
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil / site design
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia
  • LEED AP preferred
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience completing stormwater calculations and plans for state authorities.

STAFF ARCHITECT: This is a unique opportunity to enhance our team to design projects for higher education, military, local and state government, and private development clients.

Please have technical experience in the preparation of plans, specifications and construction administration. The ability to partner and communicate with the existing team, collaborate with other disciplines and work in partnership with leadership throughout the entire company is essential to maintain enduring relationship with our employees and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 3 to 5+ years’ experience with diverse project experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, MS Office
  • Progressing towards licensure and NCARB completion or recently licensed with preference for VA or NC
